Flower Drum Song
Wondering what to do with that large panel or large-scale Asian print fabric that you love? Start with a rectangle cut from a gorgeous panel or large-scale print. Happy Hour is that part of the day when it is time to relax and enjoy sewing. Find a few fabrics that you love and add some more as you piece this easy quilt from fat quarters. Kaysie Daisy Tote Bag
Create a fun tote for your projects or as a gift for someone while learning a new technique for curved piecing that uses fabric glue and freezer paper. Add pockets for a cell phone or quilting supplies. In the first class, you will piece the attractive daisy on the front of the tote and learn to make the piping accents on the strap. You will quilt the front, back, and sides of the project before returning for the second class, when we will assemble the 20" x 19" x 3 1/2" tote. Please ask for a supply list.

Lover's Knot Wall Quilt

Machine Quilting II
Now that you know machine quilting basics, experiment with a variety of threads such as rayon, metallic, sliver, and topstitch. Learn which needle type and size is the best choice for the thread you are using. See what beautiful threads can do to add color and texture to your piece. You will need an adjustable or removable bobbin case for this class. Please ask for a supply list.

Mariner's Star
Have you been reluctant to try piecing a Mariner's Compass quilt? This is an opportunity to complete a Mariner's Star using a very easy foundation piecing method developed by Judy Mathieson, one of the premier designers of these quilts. Freezer paper is the magic component in this technique, and with Joyce's help, you'll make a stunning star in class and feel confident to tackle a more complex project. Please ask for a supply list.
