Beginning Quilt Making - Framed or Re-Framed

This class starts with a firm foundation of understanding fabric, tools and basic skills that will build confidence. Students will construct a throw or twin size quilt using the pattern "Framed" or "Reframed" by Carolyn's In Stitches. For this class, we will be using a layer cake, which you can buy ahead of time. It is recommended that you wait to buy your "Frame" fabric and other supplies until the first class. The first session will include some "shopping" time to help with fabric selection. Each of the three following sessions will be cutting, sewing blocks and finally the quilt top. There will be some "homework" between each session which will allow you to finish the top in the final session and discuss options for quilting and binding.
