We are excited to be kicking off our Kimberbell Club Volume 5! All new hands-on projects to help you expand your machine embroidery skill set. Stop by the classroom to see each of the projects scheduled for this year. Projects are designed to explore new techniques, expand your understanding of stabilizers and become confident with in-the-hoop design processes. This registration fee allows you to attend any/all of the monthly sit and sews as well as a USB stick for all of your designs. Remember those fabric bowls made with Timtex fusible interfacing? The book ?Modern Fabric Art Bowls? uses a new approach with heavy two-sided fusible interfacing that finishes up much neater looking. Use that favorite fabric in your stash or you can even use a quilt block. The book also describes two approaches for the binding around the edge. What is a Panel Palazza? You pick your panel, pick your pattern, pick your fabric. This will be a three part class. The first part will be a discussion of what you can expect to learn from each pattern . Then Joyce will be available to help you pick the panel and other supplies needed to complete your project. As a side bar, Joyce often uses large print fabric in her panel quilt. A week later will be two days of sewing.

This is a free-flowing, scrappy wall hanging that uses a variety of fabrics to create a pallet with your creativity. After making the base heart and the background, you can go wild creating the layered wool hearts to place on top and around the main heart. We will decorate with thread and beads to your heart's content.
