Join us August 19-21st for three fun-filled days with author, fabric designer and award winning quilt artist Jane Sassaman as she teaches us her techniques for raw edge applique in her class Abstracting from Nature class. You will begin by discovering the visual characteristics of a plant and progressing through a series of exercises to simplify and exaggerate them, thus capturing the essence and energy. Drawing skills are not needed! In fact, this class is especially beneficial for the drawing impaired and the tragically literal!
