The BOM has completed, but we do have complete kits available. This improvisational quilt that is easy and fun to sew. There are 50 blocks in the quilt, made entirely from 2.75" strips. making cutting is very easy. There are 5 color columns in the quilt. Each column has 10 blocks. You construct the quilt one column at a time.
There is a pattern to the blocks. Each column has five different block patterns. The blocks are made from three units: half square triangles (HST's), background fabric square and colored fabric squares. The block patterns are really guidelines. The tell you how many of each unit to use in your block. You get to improvise and pick the layout of the units.
Your other design option is the background fabrics. In Option #1 the background and the border are the same fabric. For Option #2, the border is the grey fabric and background fabric is white.
The finished quilt is 57" X 80".
