This is a newly released pattern from Carolyn's In Stitches. Don't let the picture scare you, you can do this! For advanced quilters, learn a new technique to make all you stars spin in the same direction. Still hesitant to start another project or need a quick gift? "Happy Dance" is a perfect quilt for one more gift before Christmas! Don't let the migrating geese scare you, they are so easy and fun to make that they can become addictive. This quilt can be made entirely from fat quarters along with accent fabrics and background. OR if you have a panel with large squares or some focus fabric that you love, it is the perfect quilt to use those. You can even use photos. We will focus on the Throw size in class or if you feel your time is too limited, there will also be an additional pattern, only available with the class, to make a Table Runner. I have made 3 table runners using this cute pattern, 2 for me and one as a gift. Purchase a 5" charm pack and you'll get wonderful blend of coordinating fabrics for the acorn bottoms. (Select a Holiday Theme Charm Pack and get one done for Christmas.) Use one fabric for acorn caps to tie the runner together. We'll discuss how to pet the perfect triangles, finishing your block so they sew together perfectly and quilting options. Please see the supply list for fabric and notion requirements. Do you have an outdoor enthusiast in your life that you just can't find the right quilt to make for them. We have the answer. Hoffman has designed an extra long panel using their favorite outdoor scenes. The Back Country pattern has combined a stunning border that compliments this lovely panel. Have you been intrigued by Jacqueline deJong's endless circle designs? If so, this class is for you to learn how these designs come together on a smaller scale. The Four Seasons Table Runner pattern is a beautiful design done in different colorways for each season. The class model is spring, using Jacqueline's rainbow collection. In this class you will learn basic foundation paper piecing and assembly techniques unique to made Jacqueline's designs. Kits are available. Bee happy is a sweet wall hanging that is customizable. Templates for all the letters are included so you can add your own saying and make it your own. Instructions include techniques on fusible applique, circle applique and paper template applique. In addition, embroidery stitches are included for the bee applique. Choose any of Laura Heine's Teeny Tiny Collage patterns to jump into the colorful world of collage and create your own one-of-a-kind work of art. I chose this Sewing Machine because it is such a fun beginning collage project that can be made to your personal unique specifications. This class will explore your creative side and is a perfect way to learn college basics. Warning: You will never look at fabric the same way!

Using one of these beginner friendly Quiltworx patterns, this class will teach you foundation paper piecing techniques along with efficient chain piecing. Both projects have one simple block with accent geese which means your project will come together quickly! Crackers uses a layer cake for easy fabric selection. Maple Leaf Flurries has easy fabric cutting using strips. This class starts with a firm foundation of understanding fabric, tools and basic skills that will build confidence. Students will construct a throw or twin size quilt using the pattern "Framed" or "Reframed" by Carolyn's In Stitches. For this class, we will be using a layer cake, which you can buy ahead of time. It is recommended that you wait to buy your "Frame" fabric and other supplies until the first class. The first session will include some "shopping" time to help with fabric selection. Each of the three following sessions will be cutting, sewing blocks and finally the quilt top. There will be some "homework" between each session which will allow you to finish the top in the final session and discuss options for quilting and binding.

So many panels and not sure what to do with them. The Bevels pattern makes a lovely quilt with a planel. This mattern can also be used with a large print fabric. Need a gift for a special person. This class could be your answer and you should be able to finish the top in a one day class.

Stuck on a project? Just need a little help and some time to sew? These sessions are designed for you. This is not a formal class but instead it is a time when you can come in and bring whatever project you are working on and get help with it. Maybe it's adding borders that didn't get completed in class, or maybe you have questions about binding, or simply want to come sew and enjoy the company of friends you have made in other classes. While this was requested by students in my other classes, it is open to anyone who wants to come.

In this class we will be creating dwellings using an improv triangle technique. Consider these triangles a jumping off point for other designs. They can be combined with different blocks to something entirely unique!

In this introductory bag making class, you will learn many of the basic techniques used to make ByAnnie patterns such as working with Soft & Stable, installing zippers, making handles, and binding raw edges for polished looking bag. ?Ferris Wheel? is a very versatile pattern in that you can use, yardage, layer cakes or your stash. Each block requires a 10? square of focus fabric and a 10? square of background fabric. While it is suitable for directional fabric, the print will spin in all directions. The technique used makes it super easy, quick, and fun. Anyone who has mastered accurate cutting and ?? seams can complete this quilt with confidence. It?s being taught with an added twist from previous classes. Come join us for a fun class.

You find a beautiful large print fabric that you love and your reaction is "what am I going to do with this." I have the answer. The Gallery Drama pattern is designed just for this situation. A yard of fabric becomes the center and the borders compliment the fabric. This quilt is fat quarter friendly. The size makes a great throw, wall hanging, table cover or even a wonderful baby quilt. This is a great one day class, from beginner to experienced quilter, you should be able to go home with a finished top.

In this class we will be playing with curves & a couple other techniques for Cindy Grisdela's book, Adventures in Improv Quilts. If you've been hesitant to try curves check out this class. They're not difficult! Curves are only one of many other options in Cindy's book to create a unique quilt!

This intermediate collage class let's you choose one of the following patterns: Snow Globe, Piano, Sunflower or Black Cat by Laura Heine. Follow the pattern or make your collage or choose your own style to make it as unique as you are! This project uses an 'underlay' technique to make all the major components in your chosen pattern. Go through your stash at home and add some of the new fabric coming to Quilt Crossing to make your Collage Palette. Grab a friend or 2 to share the fun and fabric. This wall hanging will add a special touch to any wall. This is an intermediate Collage Class.

Want to learn to longarm your own quilt? This certification class will make machine quilting a fun, happy experience for you. This class is required before renting one of our APQS machines. This class includes class kit and 10 hours of quilting on one of our machines.

Have you just finished a beautiful quilt and would like to add throw pillows to your bed, a great way to use the scraps from your masterpiece. If you are a little apprehensive about making hexagon, this will show you a method that makes hexagon a breeze.

Learn essential tips and techniques about sewing with cork fabric as you create this project! Learn step-by-step how to create a professional looking bag. This delightful quilt is fun to make. The sample quilt in the store was made out of Grunge fabric. The colors blended beautifully. The exciting this about this quilt pattern is that it goes for a baby size to a king size. The color wave and size of teh quilt is your choice. Joyce is willing to spend 2 hours with you to help pick out your colors. The supply list will provide you with contact information and you will need to set up a time to work with Joyce. To accomplish a finished quilt in this class there will be some pre-cutting prior to class.

An assortment of bright colored batiks look like shards of glass making ?Shattered Glass? a very striking quilt. While it requires accuracy it is actually a very simple pattern. The first session will be cutting the pieces with homework to put the pieces together. The second session will be squaring the blocks and and joining the blocks together so you will have a completed quilt top. While this isn?t a class for a ?first quilt?, beginners who have mastered accurate cutting and piecing will be able to complete this pattern.
